Educating the Tompkins County community on the impacts environmental pollutants can have on both the environment and human health is something we pride ourselves on. From presentations to press releases, we take every opportunity we can to reach out to the community and inform them about our research!

PFAS Press Release

We compile PFAS data for the local drinking water and wastewater facilities, combine them with our own results, and produce a press release for media outlets.  Here is our latest press release.

EcoTox Lab at Applefest 2025

The EcoTox Lab had the exciting opportunity to table at this year's Applefest! After a weekend spent connecting with the Ithaca community through infographics and an interactive game to test forever chemical knowledge, 163 total people were reached.

Latest: WICB episode about the dangers and unknowns of PFAs ft. IC EcoTox lab

IC EcoTox Lab was asked to present information about the lab to the Ithaca College Board of Trustees in the Fall of 2024 as an illustration of the theory that practice and performance pedagogy of the college. The presentation was well received and you can access it below:
