ABOUT US
Welcome to IC EcoTox Lab, an undergraduate ecotoxicology research lab focused on investigating PFAS and microplastics in the local watershed. Our lab is committed to conducting research to understand the impacts of environmental contaminants on aquatic ecosystems. We are dedicated to providing valuable insights into the ecological risks associated with these contaminants. In our lab, students can expect to gain experience with data analysis, proper lab etiquette, public speaking, and much more.
OUR FOCUS
RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS
In the IC EcoTox Lab, we specialize in conducting comprehensive research and analysis of pollutants such as PFAS and microplastics in aquatic environments. Students are given the opportunity to conduct both independent and group experiments in the field as well as in the laboratory. Our experimental results and analyses then allow us to educate the community about the potential environmental and health risks of these contaminants. Learn more about our research topics below!
